Private Lessons

Teaching and helping others improve and enjoy the violin are my greatest passions. My biggest goal when I teach the violin is to provide a nurturing and encouraging environment to explore and develop the pupil's musicality, technique and joy for the violin. I not only want to build a comfortable foundation in the pupil's technique and musicianship, but also in the ability to comprehend the music we are studying as a whole. For example, I like to incorporate music history and theory in every piece we study in order to create the overall musical picture - an example of this is by researching the composer and discovering the circumstances in which the piece was written.

I am offering online lessons via Skype or Zoom. The lesson rates are listed below. At the end of each semester, there will be a pupil's concert held over zoom, to celebrate progress and to share the music with one another!

As the lessons are online, the preferable level of the student would be intermediate and above. 

Students under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian's permission to have lessons.
